Quick and Easy Chili

Now that the winter weather has finally made it’s way down to Florida, I have plenty of reasons to make Chili. The past few weeks I have made one batch each week, giving us dinner and a couple of days of lunch. 

Here is what you’ll need… 

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of Ground Turkey, Beef or Chicken 
  • 1 Sweet Onion, diced
  • 1-2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons Chili Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin 
  • pinch of Red Pepper
  • 2 14.5 ounce cans diced tomatoes 
  • 1 8 ounce can Tomato sauce
  • 1 15.5 ounce can Cannellini beans
  • 1 15.5 ounce can Light Red Kidney beans
  • 1 15.5 ounce can Dark Red Kidney beans 

    *If you prefer your chili to have a soupy consistency add 1-2 cups of water or stock 

    Prep time: 10 Minutes Cook Time: 30 minutes Makes approx 6 servings 

Instructions

First brown meat

Once meat is thoroughly cooked, combine all ingredients in large pot.

Simmer for 15-20 minutes and
